I've had this domain name for eight or nine years now, got it in 2016 maybe? In any case, for pretty gay reasons I don't want to use the name “Tom” anymore, and in 2025 would like to legally change it. As a result, I'll be letting this domain name expire at the end of June 2025, and until that date I won't be posting here anymore.

In some regards I find this a real shame, as I'm a big advocate for preventing linkrot and want to make pages that are designed to last, as mentioned in a 2020 post much about the same thing. Despite all that, the desire not to use my old name is much stronger and a lot more meaningful than technical reasons.

Until then, I'm going to try and finally decide on a new name once and for all. I'll still have a copy of all these posts, so might republish them under the new name if I decide to have a personal blog, or repurpose them in other places under my other online pseudonym(s) - that I've yet to decide.
